Sunday 26th April
OvaryActing are made up of three young actors, writers, directors and producers, all born and bred Malvern. OvaryActing was founded by Naomi Rule (18) and Gemima Hull (20) who met through Perfect Circle youth theatre. They also worked together for Perfect Circle promoting theatre in education around the UK.
Ellie Tompkins (20) their third and final member joined, once again through Perfect Circle, as a stage manager and producer; although she was already close friends with Gemima from school.
Along side OvaryActing, they are currently pursuing training in theatre and drama in London; Gemima is currently on her third try of auditioning at drama school, Naomi's interviewing to study drama therapy and community arts, while Ellie is looking to study film and production.
OvaryActing was founded out of a desire to create engaging theatre that the three OvaryActing ladies are passionate about; to join an wonderfully vibrant industry and to encourage conversation and dialogue on issues that affect men, women and everything in between.
You can see OvaryActings first performance 'Not Fast Enough' on Sunday 26th April. Check out their trailer here. Doors open at 7pm with the show starting at half past.
